Privacy policy

Networkguys, Smitspol 7-a7, Nijkerk, the Netherlands, is the controller for the processing of personal data described here. We only process data needed to contact you, deliver services and run this website.

What we process

  • Contact form: name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message. Basis: performance of an agreement or steps leading to one.
  • Client data: contact details, addresses, invoices and correspondence. Basis: the agreement and statutory retention duties.
  • Job applications: the data you send us, kept for at most four weeks after the process, or one year with your consent.
  • Website visits: technical data such as IP address and browser type in server logs, to keep the site secure and working.

Cookies and statistics

This website sets no tracking cookies. For visitor statistics we use Umami on our own server: it counts page views without cookies, anonymises IP addresses and stores no personal data. The bot check on our forms likewise works without cookies or a third party. If we deploy a tool that does set cookies, we ask for your consent first through the cookie banner.

Who we share data with

We share data only with parties needed for our services, such as our email provider for the contact form, network operators and carriers for ordering connections, and our accountants. We sign data processing agreements with processors. We do not sell data.

Retention

Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request and at most two years afterwards. Client and invoice data are kept for seven years under Dutch tax law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Send your request to the email address at the bottom of this page. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Security

We protect data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, access restrictions and logging.
